These guides exist because the questions people ask us at survey are almost always the same, and almost always ones they have already tried to answer online and given up on.
They are written plainly and they say “it depends” where it genuinely does, then explain what it depends on. Every page that states a planning or Building Regulations rule carries the date it was last reviewed, because the rules change.
